The Orion 2 Motor As described in the literature, a hand knitting apparatus Model 2 This lovely machine was donated and the reason I was interested was that it came with a dedicated motor and built on table, this is very unusual with vintage machines of this ilk. It’s a good job my grandson was visiting as getting this machine upstairs to the first floor of my old Breton barn was no easy task, I have seen the day when this would not have been a problem but time marches on

Recent acquisitions The Bond Elite is one of the famous Bond stable of machines, great wee machines that should not cost too much money. Its a hobby machine and as such it knits a variety of yarns. The Bond Classic was purchased by me in my early days of machine knitting to accommodate my hand spun yarn and mohair. The Bond magazines of the day offered a great variety of patterns. This one came to me in good condition and only cost 40 pounds so not a bad buy for the mon
