Recent acquisitions The Orion was a particularly heavy beast and if my grandson Josh were not here, I would never have been able to take it upstairs to the first floor of my old barn. Again these vintage double beds are heavy but between us we managed to put it together and get it working. Bond Elite The Bond Elite is one of the famous Bond stable of machines, great wee machines that should not cost too much money. Its a hobby machine and as such it knits a variety of yarns. The Bond Classic was purchased by me in my early days of machine knitting to accommodate my hand spun yarn and mohair. The Bond magazines of the day offered a great variety of patterns.
