Toyota 747 12 Stitch Punchcard Knitting Machine
Nice machine that has been languishing in my collection without any in depth research for many many years. In my defence it was damaged during transport and the left side plastic panel had disappeared however I thought I would take a look as I had just finished playing with my Toyota 787 and this is one of my favourite machines.

Superb Manuals
This machine has the most fabulous instruction manuals and they are as clear as day, not only do they offer charts but also step by step written instructions and believe me when you have eye sight like mine written instructions are a blessing,I have just discovered another handy feature, this machine does not have a needle retaining sponge bar but a metasl one - makes me wonder why all macihines do not offer this feature, so handy!

Plenty of gadgets to play around with
This Toyota machine is a spanner selection type that selects the needles as you go along, row by row depending upon the pattern. You can manually select then use the spanner to select the needles then its simply a matter of following the chart, or punchcard or tuck or slip stitch pattern.

Biuilt to last
Yet another excellent workhorse of a machine and one that knits easily with a good selection of pattern buttons, and it has weaving brushes, however no lace carriage, but a fun machine never the less. Best of all, like all Toyotas, built to last! Mine looks a bit worse for wear but this in now way affects the way it knits.
