Brother 910 Electronic Knitting Machine

The Brother 910 Electronic  knitting  machine was the first electronic machine released by Brother and it offered 60 stitch mylar sheets as the patterning system.  The one thing I do not like about this particular model is that they incorporated a set of batteries to operate the patterning facility and this meant that if you laid it away for a time the batteries had to be pulled out and consequently the wires and points were damaged.

That apart, it was innovative in its day, however,  it does not offer any built in patterns and cannot be connected up to Designaknit as it has no cable connection.  This early model did not accommodate the Brother Garter carriage without upgrading.  The books that came with the machine are very impressive and the machine still knits easily lace, tuck, fairisle, slip stitch and many other stitch patterns too numerous to mention.
